Shamanism 101: Shamanic Journeying
- Shamanism 101: Shamanic Journeying is a 4-hour workshop designed to impart to you a working knowledge of the basics of shamanic journeying. Based on core practices common to all shamanic traditions around the world, this experiential workshop will teach you how to access the shamanic state of non-ordinary (some call it extraordinary) reality for the purposes of personal healing and insight.
- We will -
- look at the history of shamanism
- talk about the benefits of a regular practice
- learn about the three worlds through which a shaman can journey
- engage in several experiential practices
Please bring the following with you:
- pillow
- floor/yoga mat (optional)
- blanket
- eye cover
- notepad and writing utensil
If you have them, please also bring:
- small handheld shamanic drum, and / or
- shamanic rattle
